See? I'm mindful of spoilers! Those who want to watch the (Fate/stay night) anime, or play the hgame whenever first and don't care to know the identity (forgotten, then remembered...) of the Servant Archer...Don't click fullview. Those who want to know, or frankly don't care and just want to see art...go right ahead. Also below are some more written spoilers and my thoughts.

...Okay that's more than enough!
So Archer is Emiya Shirou's future Heroic (jaded) Spirit Servant self...I hadn't seen this concept drawn yet, and I was tempted to draw Shirou and redraw Archer...so why not combine the two. Also-- I hate how Shirou looks in the 'official art'. He looks kinda dorky so I used a different style. ^___^ I think he looks much better!
If ever Shirou pulls his shirt off entirely (in the drawing) , he'd become... Archer! Tada! Like Superman almost. But not.
I included Tohsaka Rin's pendent in the drawing because that's what essentially links the two incarnations...Rin saved one with it, then summoned the other. Woo.
The background is supposed to be Unlimited Blade Works, but I fail at drawing swords...okay. I'm just very lazy and wanted to just end it.

I always suspected that (them having the same powers and all) but I don't remember them ever saying it outright in the series. Maybe I just missed it. Anyway nicely done though I think adding the gears in the background would have been a nice touch.

I see that Shirou could be Archer, but how? Archer was summoned in Shirous time, wouldn't that violate the whole concept?
Anyway, I love this, but his lower body does seem a bit too large in proportion to his upper body. That doesn't matter though, It still symbolize them both.

Heh, great work. And besides, I had kinda missed the "I am the bone of my sword" etc. thingy. I sooo love type-moon. Even tried to vector two type-moon people on my gallery

Well that certainly explains the opening in the second half of the series.
I assume this is only found out during the course of the original game...otherwise I missed this referance in the series.

Althought this was barely discussed in the anime...I read it on a website and was like ;WHAT! I hate Shirou to a very deep degree and love Archer, so that info was a shock to me...Anyway, very nice concept...Shirou looks cool...for once.

Iget the feeling that his abdomen is too long. Just skew the middle of his body slightly if you think i'm right.

...I admit I was going for the more bishounen proportions, but now that I look again at it... 6____6 I could remove atleast 1-1.5cm off of the abdomen. Aaaaaaaahhhh! It's going to drive me insane now! (Not really, but I do notice it. ^____^; ) Next time!
