Luckily he gave this to me before he passed away.
Created with Apophysis; no post work except for added text.
A new direction for me.
When viewed full view, this image is 20% of the rendered image size (height/width) and is only 4% of the rendered image area. The render has much, much more detail.

mh, really interesting... I'm normally not a fan of fractal art, but this piece is quite beatiful^^ What program did you use to make it? And how is fractal art generally made? I have no clue about this type of art xD But the complexity in this piece is amazing I have to say... and the title is also very beatiful^^

Thanks. Great comment. Fractal art uses math to plot points that follow a specific scheme based on the formula. Of course, software programs (in this case Apophysis) does the math for you. Beyond that, the process of using the program is relatively complex. I have been using Apophysis for over 6 years now. If you want, Google "Apophysis" and download it. It is freeware. Very fun.
