Thanks. This was on the cover of a local newspaper that did a full, 2-page spread on me and my art (in full color).

It is inspiring to find someone on dA who is actually succeeding as an artist in the "real world." Did you write your own press release or did you come to their attention some other way?

No, a local reporter saw my work at the Waterford Public Library and called me. She did a wonderful job researching fractals and actually became a fan of fractals herself. Included several color images of my work. I gave her a 20" x 30" print of "Infinity".

Thanks a lot. This piece is awesome in print (I have a 20"x30" glossy). Was recently on the cover of a newspaper that did a full color center spread article on me and fractals.

I like the woven wheat look. It is so organic and "real."
Nice job. I wish Apophysics worked on the Mac. [link]

Incredible Apo, Tom. The weaving is so tightly meshed to gether, and the gradient is stunning.

Simply stunning...
What made you decide it needed to be rendered at that density?
Curious how long it took to render also.

Thanks vey much and for the Fav!
I thought this was one of my best images so I wanted a great render. Because I had zoomed back on it I could stand a higher density. I think it was only about 4-6 hours, fairly average for me.
I hear some say a zoomed image takes longer to render. Yes, but a zoomed image REQUIRES a lower density setting. It all works out the same.

Beautiful!
