Tom,
Great work again! I really love this piece. The colours (as usual) strike me, as well as the little details (full view IS a must). Just plain beautiful work. Keep it up.

Thanks very much. I wanted a dark, somber color scheme and so I tried lots of grays and browns. Once I got the skull I colored it to fit the whole scheme, removed the BG, added as 72% transparent and added some shadow. Then added the subtle laser beam and diffusion, all in Photoshop. The fractal image had no postwork done to it.
Glad you like it.

Funny thing about those grand julia's: the little 'laser' line going into the skull, always seems to etch its' self into the picture with enough translate.
I wish this would fit my desktop. This, I love.

Thanks so much for your comment.
And I like your Einstein quote. I have heard it before and I am a fan of him.

You're welcome Tom
Einstein has some wonderfully introspective quotes. I have a poster with some of his best ones, and him smoking a pipe in what I take to be his favorite chair, reading a book. A much better picture than the ones with his hair all whacked out or his tongue sticking out.

WOW Tom....You always impress but the skull in the middle just tears it up in ALL the best ways!!!

Thanks Eddie. I've always liked art that was a bit on the dark side so when this fractal began to develop I knew I wanted to do a concept piece.
