Well, here's my first drawing in my new DA.

Over the years, I've made characters that have just stuck around. Cynder is one such example. I've had him in my mind since... First grade I think?

Of course he looked nothing back then like he does now.

Oh, and should the issue ever arrive, Yes I did use reference material. i found the references on google though so i can't remember the keywords i used a month ago lol. e.o. If I remember right it was a photo of a tigers head to understand the face better then from memory, and another that gave me a better idea of human shape. Truth is I'm better at drawing animals lol. The human stance is still iffy for me after so many years x.x. There's a drawing I have in the planning phases that will hopefully not require any references.

Anyway, hope this is liked. Feel free to comment, I always appreciate feedback.

Cynder is in a word: practical.

He was once a warrior in an army of rakshasa, otherworldly beings that connive to take over societies on the earth plane. Because of a transgretion that dishonored his kind, the Magi circle, rulers of his people, blinded him and banished him to our existence.

Since then Cynder has lived in exile. Rather then be defeated however, the beast decided to make a life for himself in this alien world.

Taking on the title of a guardian for hire, he now lives protecting those with the right pay.
