You know, from the thumbnail I wasn't thinking that I would like this very much, so I'm very glad I actually clicked to enlarge the image! You can plainly tell that first off, a lot of heart went into this design, and the more I sit with it, the more I like it! She's got a very sturdy and rugged look to her without losing the starfleet aesthetic or looking like a yeager class.

I didn't see those ones! Thank you very much for the images! The more I see this, the more I like it! If you're okay with the opinion, the only part I'm not quite sure how I feel about hangars on the sides which hold the Defiant Class vessels. I like the idea, but I'm not so sure what I think of the break in curve of the saucer and flat front of them. BUT, that is a minor thing, because again, I really do adore the way you've set this ship up! A serious military ship like this that actually FEELS very human, and very strong is something Starfleet needs!

I see what you mean about the pods, I had the thought a few times, but I decided to keep them flat to emphasis on its warlike feel and break its own easthetic just a bit.

Oh yeah, and again, I do love the look of the ship in your choice of shapes. The two "arrowhead" looking Saucer Sections at the front and rear of the ship, with that trim pinched middle really just give this thing a more powerful presence than most Federation ships. Even the Prometheus feels, with that single pointed front, like it's designed more to rush and move forward. The Inquisitor just has the right look of something that's ready to hold its place in a fight, and woe be unto the fool whose looking to try to rush them off.

It's... interesting. A bit big for a ship built in the 24th Century. The Odyssey Class of STO is only 1,062 meters long and that's 2409.
Edit: Is that a Defiant Class on the lower hull at the back?

Yes the point is that it fills a role not before adressed in starfleet. I imagined it first before STO even existed.
And it'S role is different from the role of the Odyssey class.
If you read the stats, you'll see that it can carriy 2 defiant class ships. It's build as a reaction to all the treats that appeared in the 24 th century, romulan, borg dominion ant it is the idea of starfleet gone wrong before they did that U.S.S. Vengance
