I know that DUNE is the Big Book, but try skinny little DUNE MESSIAH if you never have. Certainly you can't have Book #2 without Book #1, but MESSIAH is my personal favorite...

I was inspired from watching the movie about Jodorowsky's Dune. That movie would have been amazing.
