Description I am doing an illustration project with some friends where we pick a topic and each month do an illlustration. Then we post our sketches and finals on this blog here:

This month's theme was patterns. I chose the tidal patterns of the ocean that are governed by the moon. I've been spending far too much time in the First People's gallery at the ROM for my own good.

was this a single lino block or several? Really enjoying the color scheme in this.

It was a single block that I printed in several colours, then I used masks in photoshop to hide the sections that I didn't want shown in each particular colour.
