Well, before they were the Tallest, they were training to be Invaders.Here's what I thought they might look like when they were Invaders. This was inspired by the scripted for The Trial, an episode of Invader Zim that was never made. It goes into to Zim's past and we get to see far more of Irken life thought it, not to metion Zim's.
The outline of this was done in Illustration and it was colored in Photoshop. The background was thought together using brushes, fliters, the smuge tool, and a patter overlay. I think it turned out pretty well anyway.
