Well this scene makes more sense when you read the rest of the story, but it was just to test out the style. I thought it would look interesting if the whole comic was drawn like this so i went to test it, and you know what? It does look kinda cool.

Anyway can't say much about the scene itself (plot secrets )

But what I can say is that it was challenging to draw it all as if it was night.
And yes it is weird but that is what i was going for xD.
