I had originally posted this pic when I didn't know the circumstances of Benoit's Death. When I learned the details, I took down the pic because I felt it might be in poor taste.I would like to apologize for even taking it down.
I do not condone the murders, but I will not ignore how great of a performer Benoit was. It's unfortunate that a great career and Legacy is forever Tarnished with allegories to O.J. Simpson.
RIP Nancy and Daniel: No one deserves to die the way you did. Please be at peace.

RIP Chris. As much as I wished this was some bad dream or that you were set up, I hope that whatever god you believe in will have mercy on your soul.
As for this picture: I drew this as a character design for my background characters in my superhero series. He was based on both Chris Benoit and the Dynamite Kid. I would have done more with the background like I did with my other character designs, but to be honest what I did was enough.
I'd rather salute his career as a wrestler (not the monster he allowed himself to become)

You can't blame him. The man had pretty bad damage to his head and no one thought to get him to a doctor, physical and mental, so they could help him before it was too late and something like that happened.
They did not and look what happened.

The biggest tragedy is that they are denying all his contributions. They had a Wrestlemania XX recap... and they completely left his match out of it (which is TOTALLY disrespectful) Even before Benoit died, I could not watch the end of Wrestlemania XX (with Eddie and Chris in the ring together) without crying

I understand your point. But I also understand WWE point as well. WWE made a point to run a Tribute to the man without getting all the facts about the deaths. News Media being the Jackals and Vultures they are tore the "E" a new one.
So distancing themselves from Beniot is the right call. I'm not saying it's good to bury the man's accomplishments, but considering the circumstances, it's the correct choice.
Only time and information can heal all wounds, also a little forgiveness too.

Well I was watching CNN. They believe it may have been due to brain damage. They even had a clip of Benoit having seizure in the ring after failing to do a flying headbutt from the top of a cage.
He may simply have been unable to control himself.

was it a legit seizure. If it was in the ring he might have been just selling for the move.
Brain damage or not, it's hard to justify murder when a Child is involved. Unfortunately we may never truly know why this happened.

I always found it a little odd that we were never told what he used or that nobody has talked about fingerprints. Don't you think we would have seen something like that from a report or a newscast?

Well they did say that he strangled his wife with some type of cord (to what they don't say) while he was applying pressure to to her back/neck. as for his son, he put some type of choke hold and squeezed the life out of the little guy. I'm more interested in why he did it in the first place.
What was so bad that caused him to snap and feel he needed to resort to this extreme. This wasn't something that happened all of a sudden. This was brewing with him for quite some time and something finally broke him.

The cord thing is news to me, I haven't ready about that in any articles I've seen. Do you remember if it was an article or a news cast?
I agree I'm really interested in why it happened, it should all be answered when that toxology report comes in. I'm hoping it was drugs, I hope that when the report comes in that he was so full of drugs (or rather just one powerful drug) he couldn't think straight. According to everyone that knew him he loved his children above all else and it's very hard to believe he would hurt Daniel and Nancy. I have to be honest, some part of me is still hoping there was another person involved in this.

I too hope that something is fishy and this was a triple murder.
But regardless of the Toxicology report, the vast majority will still see Benoit as a child killer.
It's one thing had it been just his wife (not that it makes it ok). But throw a kid into the mix and public dubs you a monster.
