Here's the latest released cover for Detective Comics due out this October. I think that the combination of me, Ryan Winn on inks and Tomeu Morey's coloring works great. I really like the painted look that Tomeu brings.Related content

mr daniel theres soething thats been bugging me lately first of all let me say i really love your run on detective comics but my question is does it take place in the present day like the other batman titles or does it take place 5 years in the past like justice league and action comics im asking you this because an interview you had with usa today says it does take place 5 years in the past but you said yourself on your online blog that usa today goofed and that it indeed takes place in the present time i would like it if you could reconfirm this since the majority of people seem to believe what usa today said

We kinda lag behind with all the New 52 stuff here in South Africa, so its a treat to see these.
Great composition, and mighty fine inks from Ryan Winn. The lighting and mood created by the three of you just speaks volumes as well. Can't wait 'till this one hits our shelves.
