An almost off-hand comment by a friend of mine, led to this painting. Completely digital, I'm getting more and more comfortable with the medium and my tablet.

I have to say, after drawing him, I kinda thought Crunch should have been Scotty... but there were no obvious replacements for McCoy. I considered Cookie Jarvis, but decided, Cookie Jarvis could be Scotty just as easily as Captain Crunch. Pop was chosen from his brethren on the condition that his name rhymes (so the sound-effect name Spok! could be put on his hat) and also he had the least goofy hat.

I had some other ideas, for this painting, including Franken*berry as a Klingon, and the Romulan Bird of Prey (old school) with the Kellog's Corn Flakes rooster painted on the underside. Who knows... maybe I'll still get around to that.
