Here is my entry for the latest "battalion" art jam. I'm actually a day early but i'll be out of town so i have to upload it now. This art jam was actually my idea or the topic atleast which as you may have guessed already, Marvel vs. Capcom. It was tons of fun to draw characters i've never drawn before like omega red, Dr. Doom and that weird green tentacle creature i refer to as "Bob the ass raping tentacle creature from beyond". I like Bob, he's great at parties.This coloring on this piece was changed half way thru so the left side doesn't really match the right, i had a lot more detail and color on the right which became a mess to the eye so i went with a different palette or i chose a palette, like any good colorist would have done in the beginning. I'll put those up as soon as i get back so you can see the difference. I went back and made changes to the left side to make it coherent. This piece was rushed like crazy hope you like it.
and should have their entries up by oct 31 at 7pm. Check em out, love em.

update- by the way this piece is really sloppy, especially the left side, i apologize but i had a lot of deadlines to meet and i really wanted to get it done so i will clean it up soon.

I was hoping you would. No worries i plan on doing a Jin piece i just have a Chaos Legion piece to finish first. I really like doing under the radar pieces like pn03, Star Gladiator and Chaos Legion.

I'm with you man, imagine if they did a sequel now. That game would be so awesome. Just graphically it would be amazing. I don't understand how that game didn't do well. I need to start a petition.

Much work went into this. Good stuff. You even gave 7 expressions for the servebots. And funny how Tron Bonne has given up on her machine for working with Juggernaut.

Never thought I'd draw Servebots or Tron Bonne. Actually I never thought i'd draw half these characters but i'm glad i did. Alot of work did go into it but it was fun so i don't consider it work really. It seems to be paying off with the attention its getting so I'm really really happy about that. Anyhow I'd drop my personal mech for Juggernaut any day.

Thanks for the tips and critiques. I've been getting a lot of feedback from Chubby Hulk but I'm actually okay with that.
As far as the Background goes, I never planned on doing anything early on but then i tried a few things but nothing really worked. I don't consider myself a very good colorist and mainly because i lack the knowledge of a lot of color theory. This piece was actually a huge learning curve. I had never worked with so many characters before and with so many different color schemes. Halfway thru i actually made a color palette so the characters wouldn't clash so much. My point is i have no idea what color or colors i would use for the background that would interfere or even help with popping out the characters. Thanks again, didn't mean to respond with a novel,

I understand, I haven't attempted a group piece in some time and this is the first time i finished one. I just kinda went with it. Very little planning was involved just drawing and when it didn't look right I'd just erase and draw someone else or a different pose. No usually a good way to go about things but it really just allowed me to get it done.
