Machiko Noguchi from AVP comics/novels.After looking back at this piece after a few months there were a few things i didnt like. I changed the face over, tweaked the skin colour, removed the mesh as it was too distracting, added more jewelry and the target lasers. I also added a few scars across her body, limbs and face. All 100% digitally painted in photoshop.

Very good work on Machiko here, but if I may say this, she looks a little too dark toned and this makes her look more like Alexa Woods. Of course, this could be the lighting and the way it's coming from the back which makes her look darker than she actually is. Because Machiko is Japanese, try giving her a lighter tone but then again, as I said, this could be the lighting coming from the back which makes her look darker than she is.
That aside, excellent work and keep up the effort.

There are sunrays shining onto her shoulder... so there is a light source that could illuminate the skin. The artist rendered her very dark for a japanese woman. And the braids are also very thick for any asian hair type. It must be done on purpose. Since it is a rework, the artist probably decided that an african should protray the character. I don't particularly agree with it. While I can accept a "black" Nick Fury in the Marvel Universe - the name Nick Fury is a generic name. I can't accept a "black" Machiko Noguchi - the name is distinctly Japanese, and the novelization of the character is distinctly Japanese. Japan has no native "black" skin color.
