What did you do? Destroy the message of the original lorax! This 2012 remake is so awful. If you want a good version with a REALLY sympathetic oncler, watch the 1972 lorax

I love this ! It captures what I'm sure he was feeling once the last tree fell and the Lorax left. deep regret because he lost himself to greed and now he realized he was wrong and now must live with the guilt. I feel really bad for him

When I was little, this was my favorite story, even though I didn't understand that the entire thing was a metaphor. Even then, I know it was true.

I really think the movie shoulda left O'Hare out. Really the Once-ler was always and should always have been the focus of the story. That's what made Suess's story so great, was that we had a genuinely engaging story without a villain. But of course, Universal just HAD to go insert a villain we can all hate. Let it die indeed. Great capture of the Once-ler's guilt. I think this is why the Once-ler was never really a villain, because he understood the gravity of his mistake and repented.

Yeah, I kinda wish that the new film focused only on the Once-ler's story as well. But even with O'Hare, I thought it was a decent film.

Hey, great artwork. I really like the sketchy style; it actually kind of accentuates the numbness that goes with grief/guilt. I love the way you drew tears; most artists just kinda clumsily tack a couple of most unconvincing lines on top of whatever face they have drawn, but you force the tear trails to conform to the shape of the face, which really helps give it a sense of depth. I also like the color blend that the water creates on his face. How do you colorists do crap like that? I can't figure colors out to save my life.......
