oh so this is an old pic? i feel so guilty for talking my parents in to buying this overpriced junk box. it keeps having issues but theres no way i'll abandon it and ask for a new one like my sisters did cuz my laptop cost 4 times as much as one of theirs

It was taken Aug 12, 2008. I did the same thing but i payed them back. I had one issue the one of the video cards went out almost a month after a month i got it. I sent it in and have never had a issues to date.

mainly my issues havent been the fault of the computer. the first one was a virus i got and the next issues were the fault of the people who "fixed" them (coming back with certain drivers not installed). but the main thing is i see so many cheaper computers running the same programs i'm running and theyre doing it just as easy. since dell took over, alienware computers are really no better than some of their other models, which are a fraction of the price

I have heard some horrible story's about there services. what they say about all the issues you had ? how long were you with out a laptop? I got lucky with mine i guess. I was thinking of buying a new laptop from them last October but decided to build my own. I just bout a ALIENWARE case and picked what i wanted and ordered then form new-egg.

well the longest i went without, it was just school IT not dell service. Dell service always worked online controlling my comp so wasnt without for more than a day, but i was without wireless for half a year. dell service fixed wireless problem wih complete reboot, forgot to install video card. finally got video card installed without a third factory reboot
