Description
The ranger who I hold near and dear to me, this is the Black Bear Ranger. I had this idea for WAY too long and now he's finally seeing the light of day.I thoroughly enjoy the end results of the color scheme. I wanted to do something that hasn't been done in Sentai history: include a gold visor.
His story is he was an exiled ranger a few years back and has been keeping an eye on the Primary (Red, Blue and Yellow) Rangers to make sure they don't struggle too much. All said and done, he reveals his presence to them to help fight, and thus, regains the powerful abilities of the Black Bear.

Using gold for the detailing to help it stand out on the black was a great idea, especially for the visor. It reminds me of the time I saw a mis-coloured picture of the Black ranger as a kid. It was the first time I realised his helmet had detailing on it which I could never see before.

I've always had the gold visor in the back of my mind years ago. I'm surprised they never pursued something like that, but who knows with Sentai?
For the Black Ranger, I never understood why they couldn't have an outline to show the difference from the visor/helmet.

I guess because Sentai have always had a black visor (as far as I can remember anyway) they've never wanted to change it. And I agree. I think I was impressed by the detailing on his helmet so it's a shame it was never more prominent.

Thanks! It's sort of a "since I grew up huge with Power Rangers and have a wild imagination, this was bound to happen" kind of thing. This ranger was my favorite in the planning process and who knows, I might write out the story...if only there were more hours in the day...

I got this idea of native Indonesian beast-themed. They are komodo, Sumatran tiger, bird of paradise, babyrousa, and coral shark.
It'll be great if you can help me on this

That's quite a nice mix of animal themes! I like the concept. If you want, you could tell me what you have planned and in my spare time, I could whip up some plans. Like which color goes to what animal, motifs, etc.

OK, here they are:
White (male)-Komodo
Red (female)-Tiger
Blue (male)-Shark
Yellow (female)-Bird of Paradise
The babyrousa is the one I'm confused with. Should he be Green or Black?
The motifs are 'wild'-themed, with clawmarks on the sides of the arms and the body. There's also symbol of triple clawmarks (like Gekiranger) on right shoulder, while on the left there's silhouette of the sideward head of respective Ranger's beast spirit, with mouths open wide.
The hands and feet have claws for attack.
Lastly the visors are golden (like your Black Bear, which is just awesome!)

First off, it's nice to hear that much detail about your idea! I've got some ideas flowing and I'm enjoying the concept. (I would like to note that I did have the idea of making a red female a while back, so kudos on that note!) All of them sounds very doable. I'm a bit meh on the shark being blue (simply due to there being several blue shark rangers, but we'll see how this one turns out, I suppose) and I'm leaning more towards Green for the babyrousa.
One last note, any idea for the sixth 'special' Ranger?

Anyway, I do have ideas for Sixth (and Seventh) but not much on that.

Black could be a nice change for the Shark. Personally, I haven't thought much into the color schemes (only the design) for the animals and their colors, so it's up to you on that.
And oh, didn't know you had plans for two others! XD That's fine. I do like the concept of the leatherback. Buffalo doesn't really hit me that strong, namely due to Gaoranger's GaoBlack, but that's just me. It can work out just fine.

I still have to make each Ranger's personality to make them 'human' and understandable.

That works with the whole time thing. At this point, I can't promise really too much; I am currently taking some college courses, so that takes the cake on my time. I still doodle for time to time, so it's possible to work on this soon.
I can think about ranger personalities. Have you thought about the nature of each animal mirroring the ranger themselves? Just an idea...
