Description
It's now official; I've started the writing of my Shen fic, titled as The Darkness Within.I've written about half of the prologue, and it's already longer than any of my other stories' chapters. That counts for something, although my chapters have never been that long anyways. Update pace on the other hand... I wouldn't count on more than one chapter/month.
This was my first take on traditional coloring for years(!), so the flames are what they are...
I also drew Cike in a weird style. I have no idea where it came from, but I kinda like it xD
And about the fic; if you have seen my OC drawings, you probably know what it is about, but in the case you haven't: It deviates from the ending of KFP2, following Shen's conquest of China. My OC Cike will be the main character with Shen as the antagonist.
All other info is classified.

Yeah, there's so many of those resurrection stories that I'm taking this a little different way. Here Shen never loses in the first place.

To me there seem to be three different ways that people choose to interpret it- he's resurrected somehow, he survives "the end" with serious injuries, or he wins.

I meant all the stories where he survives the cannon fall with the 'resurrection stories'. But I know there's a few of these where Shen wins, though most of them take a leap in time and don't descripe the invasion itself. I know I'm not doing something totally unique, but I'm taking my best shot at it.
That's only for the setting though, the story itself ofc, is unique

I can say that the prologue is going to be dark, fluffy(O.o) and exciting. But not in that order xD
