Kayo giggled at the memory of Pish swinging on the disco ball. She had to admit it startled her at the time but looking back, it was rather funny.

“So, you been enjoying the party?” Pish brought her attention back the present.

“Well I only just got here, but I did enjoy it last time!”

Pish rotated on his chair so he could better face the purple gro, “You had a brother right? Is he here too?” He scanned the crowd for any sign of blue.

Kayo looked away, “actually I have 2. I imagine they’re at home.” Insecurity rose up within her, “It’s uh...just me tonight.”

An awkward tension hung between the two gro as they stared at each other in silence.

Kayo’s reaction to the mention of her brother did not go unnoticed by Pish, who ended up looking upon the dancers, trying to think of some way to liven up their interaction again. Then it hit him, this was a party.

He turned back to Kayo, smile on his face, “Wanna dance?”

Kayo wasn’t sure what to say. On one hand she wasn’t even confident that she could dance without falling on her face, but on the other, this was a party and she was here for a reason. “I guess I probably should.”

“Great! Let’s go then!” Pish hopped off his chair and grabbed Kayo’s hand, urging her to follow.

“Ah, ok.”

Kayo let Pish drag her out into the dance floor and followed his lead. Before she knew it she was dancing and having a great time, AND she hadn’t even tripped or bumped into anyone yet.

The two of them stopped for a breather and as soon as they locked eyes they started laughing, they were having too much fun.

After the laughter subsided, a mischievous grin appeared on Pish’s face.

“Wanna go have some real fun?”

Intrigued, Kayo raised an eyebrow and returned the grin

“Depends. What did you have in mind?”

Oh boy, what’re you planning there Pish? You better not do anything to get you into too much trouble. Hopefully I did ok with the story, it’s not all that important, it’s mostly the same as the comic anyways
