I'm a horrible person, and I'd be damned if I didn't enjoy it

It is sad when Parent Characters dies when it comes to Animated Films. In a Rare case the Lead
Character of an animated films such as Mobile Suit Gundam Chars Counter Attack and All dogs go to Heaven actually dies and Does'nt come back to life. Though Charlie Barkin was able to come back to life because of his watch until it stops ticking while Amuro Ray on the other hand Dies Completley while stopping an astroid from fallen into the earth.

I agree that it's sad when a parent character dies when it comes to films.
I've watched A Little Princess (1995 film) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia , and the character,Β Sara Crewe, said to one of the girls from the school for girls that she doesn't have a mother.

That is sad. If it wasn't for Basil's help and Ratigan had the upper hand and Murdered Hiram.
Olivia would have been an Orphan by now.Β Β

True, same goes for Mulan. Although just one pair for her.

Yep. But why do you think Disney makes so many of their characters lose parents?

Well, that's a rather tricky question and really, it depends on the situation. If a parent dies during a movie (Ie. The Lion King) it serves as a way of getting rid of the mentor-figure for the protagonist thus forcing the character to either mature or take a drastic turn to benefit the situation.

With Disney at least one parent has to be dead. If both parents are alive at the beginning of the movie one of them will die over the course of the movie.

Yes, that's the general rules, with a few exceptions. Mulan kept both her parents.

Ohhhh my gosh I'm not the only one who noticed that!
I mean come on. It's always the mom with Disney! XD Especially in their Disney channel original films, all the old ones. The mom was always dead >W<

Yeah, Disney has GOT to have some issues... Either their mum is dead, or she will die (except for Simba... in his case it was his pa'...) I think Dumbo was one of the few early Disney movies who got to keep his ma'.
