hmm, he sounds as snobby as my environmental systems professor. Doesn't look like Eddie or John is too thrilled about his assumptions of average intelligence either. But, it seems like the more dysfunctional a team is, the the story gets more entertaining.

It's got nothing to do about being snobby, though, it's just a question of being smarter - and the guys has got to face it, Basil IS WAY beyond average, which of course takes it out on his social skills, as can be seen.
And no; John and Eddie will get over it (or better still, get used to it), but it IS going to be a current thing, poor guys.

And yes, long live dysfunctional teams How we like it.
