Part two. Where I actually introduce Ghost . See those shoes? I hate love those shoes. They make up for the horrible troll-feet.Sorry about the lack of color by the way. I didn't have time.
I don't know if you've noticed, but the text is all sleek and correct-ish... That's all thanks to my lovely beta readers, who kindly attempted to correct my horrible grasp of grammar and commas. Thanks guys! I really tried to follow your suggestions.

(Although I guess Devin isn't quite a bird. 
The scarf and the bag thing is a really neat way to leave a clue for people about Devin's true identity. It does say "human", or at least "sentient", and it saves having to write any awkward and predictable misunderstandings...

Haha. That joke just had to be made, especially when I read that Ghost like to watch birds. It may not be a good joke, but it was too tempting to pass up.
And I think Devin is close enough to count as at least somewhat related to birds by now.
I'm happy you like my scarf & bag idea. It took a bit of thinking but when I came up with it it seemed like the obvious answer to let him actually wear the things even if they honestly aren't very comfortable to him. And avoiding those dreadful misunderstanding-plots is a nice bonus.

Hee. Yeah, Rook tends to be really fun to write, my entries wouldn't be half as fun to make if he wasn't there. But I had a lot of fun with Ghost and Rosemary too.
And of course I remembered Whisk. I had to sneak in a reference simply because that little critter was so adorable.

I think Ghost is better at adjusting to all the weirdness since it's, well, a ghost. And we'll see how long Devin's luck hold. Sooner or later he'll probably run out, but hopefully he'll have gotten more used to the situation by then.
