The fourth most numerous class of fighting vessel in the Free Worlds Navy, the Raptor class has been in service the longest, with the Freedom depicted here having been the very first warship the Free Worlds ever possessed. In battle the role of these warships is provide an armored shield and sword to the rest of their fleets, relying on heavy armor and overwhelming firepower to guide in the Colony class battlewagons and to shield the lighter Comets, Rainmakers and Bulwarks as they kill their targets.
