This is just a small piece for my sanity because after Wisdom I needed something quick and easy. My D&D campaign is about 3 months in now and I'm pretty sure at this point Isstal isn't going to be killed by my party so MORE DRAWINGS. I've put off drawing her because I was really really worried I was gonna get attached to her and then she'd die. I'm giving my party as much autonomy as I can to do whatever they want in the campaign, I just react to it.So Isstal actually has three chicks, but this is her main girlfriend. Her name's Vilva and she's bubbly and cute, which is the opposite of Isstal's solemn seriousness. Thanks to for some edits to make Vilva look better, and thanks to for suggesting the background be "bubbly" so I put them in a bubble bath and promptly bitched about it.
Beyond that, didn't really go crazy, just relaxed and enjoyed working on it. The extra practice on faces was really nice and I was able to add a bit more shine to the skin. Turned out great imo, and a good learning experience. I do enjoy the direction my art is going on. On to the next piece!

Even if she dies in campaign, and I know how painful that can be, there’s still never a reason not to draw a character you love, no matter how attached you are. Remember that because I felt the same way about characters I’ve lost in campaigns.
That being said, again I want to compliment you friend on another fantastic piece! I can clearly and easily see how much time and energy you devote to your paintings. It’s evidenced in the very piece itself and I love that. You create art that is not only meant to be gazed at but begs to be too.
Just look at this painting. The fine details stand out so wonderfully I can’t help but admire. Those fine, single strands of hair, even in the eyebrows. The piercings, the subtle gradients in skin tone, right down to the expressions themselves. A most very fine work of art here my man. Nice work and I hope you’re proud it.

Her type of character with backstory is built for the campaign I'm in so once she's gone she's gone. Which sucks.
