This is my entry for *NinjaKato Dogs of War Contest.

Drone Species: Meridius Felicius (or the Glow Cats)
A glowing drone that usually inhabits caves with iridesent water or crystals. They hunt much like a Angler Fish does.
The “glow” on these drones is much like the “glow” from the torchbugs we have here on the surface world. They also can controll when they glow as well. The “mane” on them is actually quills filled with neurotoxin used in disabling prey and self-defense. They lack actual pupils. They instead have “glowing” orbs that they can use to lure prey into their caves. They see intead with the heat sensors on either side of their skull. The bottom of their jaw is solid bone. They consume their prey by twisting off chunks and consuming them whole.
Their claws are covered with a more diluted version of neurotoxin. The “glowing” markings on their sides are used to both confuse anything wanting to hurt them and entice prey. They can controll the intensity of the “glow”Art is mine!
