If this is your first try, you WIN! Nelo Angelo's probably the hardest guy around to draw. Keep trying and you'll learn how to make the complex effects on his skin.
But change the shape of the zweihΓ€nder's blade. It's too similar to a scimitar the way it is.

wow! That's a really difficult guy to draw but I think you captured him...especially his colorful and weird looking skin!Nice try!
If you make his eyes glowing and paint a force field around his sword that would be even more awesome.
To make glowing eyes - just use a bigger paintbrush and click once with a light yellow color in the center of the eyes.
Force field - erm...I dunno how. But I have seen it. I can dig out the tutorial for you if you like. ( Cuz I wanna learn to do it too!)

Drawing his true form is better...
OTL
I'd prefer drawing the real him.
This is his devil mode...
Anyway, thx a lot!!!
Ohh...
Another trick from Lumi-sensei!!!
*scribble down the trick*
XD

Hehe...I think you'd soon be able to draw him in his "normal" mode. Cuz I can tell that you're improving each time you post something.

Well, his normal mode is in human form.
Not this armor thingy...
Oh, really??
I'm actually kinda unsure bout my improvement.
Bcoz from my view, my drawing is getting lamer in some part.

oh...which part is lamer?
Because you draw more chibis? But chibis are cute too...

Hmm...
I'm not sure too...
(Stupid me..)
Well, I just feel that I'm not really improving.

Hmmm...
That's why I suggested the anatomy book. Because if you memorized the male and female anatomy, then you can draw more complex poses. And shade better too.
Hmm, why not try going back to traditional. Like color pencils? This will allow you to train your shading a lot better then CG ( cuz you don't have a tablet yet) I used to use color pencils a lot. I used to mix watercolor pencils and copic markers. I dunno if it is a good way but I HATE to see the white area in the paper, so I use a colorless/light grey copic to wash over the area mixed with watercolorpencils, then build on top with prismacolors. xD Anyway I can't use other traditional medium but I love pencils.

Hmm...
I have colour pencil, but I don't hv copic.
Sumtimes I'm lazy to work with pencil colour because it'll take an awfully lot of time to fill all the colour in.
U got what I mean??
Maybe I'll try sumtimes.
Thx for the suggestion anyway..

Haha...
I dunno....in my experience I never felt it took a long time to shade in the colors.....either I can do it fast or maybe I enjoy shading a lot. I like holding a physical pencil, sharpening it, etc...
But physical drawings always fade. After a few years and all the pigments fell off...it's kind of sad. That's why CG is a lot better.

Yup!!!
Agree!!!
If u work traditional, it's very hard to maintain the artwork.
Pencil and paint can fade away if u don't keep them properly.
