Uriel because he needed a new outfit SO BAD D: and FINALLY a good ref of his wings! *whew*Uriel's bird (meaning his type of wings and also the breed of bird he can change into at will) is a grey heron. Theyre actually pretty common birds, but theyre so pretty~
!He usually wears the top half of the robe down, like on the picture to the right. But whenever hes doing official buisness, or in the company of other angels, he wears it up like the picture in the bottom middle.

i came up with them myself, lol sorry. Michaels is the golden eagle, raphael is the sooty tern, gabriel im still debating a little but im fairly sure is a white gyrafalcon, and azrael is an archeopteryx, which is the first real bird to ever exsist, a raptor bird.

ah an original theme! thats nice thanks for the michael bird cause its my fav archangel and now I know what color ill paint his wings..btw I think uriel should be a bird of prey like the peregrine falcon since he is the angel of repentance wields a fiery sword and stuff (according to the apocalypse of peter)...

Well there are alot of things I note when I pick their birds- originality, for one. I feel like a raven or condor for the angel of death would be too predictable.
I also take note of the wings, because my angels always have the wings of the bird that represents them whenever they have their humanlike bodies. Peregrine falcon wings are not as easily identifiable as some others (althought I DO like the bird)and I think that they are a bit too short looking to look right on Uriel.
I also base it off of their personalities- or at least, the ones I make for them as my original characters...My uriel is very harsh and can be cruel, but is usually calm and collected. I understand where you come from, I just match them with my personal view of the angels

The wings on angel form couldnt be the same size as the bird form thtas why I thought of the peregrine falcon...its a bird of prey, relentless also with a dive speed of 217mph (wiki xD), btw if u want the biggest wings ever choose the wandering albatross, 11 feet wingspan...

thats a pretty good pick actually, original and they really DO have impressive wings :] and for the peregrine falcon I meant more the wing shape, not the size. For some reason Ive always favored wings with long, extended primary flight feathers. Lol not sure why. So I tend to draw them that way.
