A bit out of nowhere but I always was thinking about drawing a yumejoshi picture. I gathered my courage after taking part in a yume colour-wheel art challenge on Twitter for the encouraging of one of my friends. >///<
To be honest, I didn't think too much about my self-insert ship partner.
Who knows me knows that I am a huge fan of Shokugeki no Souma, and my personal favourites are the Aldini twins. Buuut... I might overthink it but didn't feel any of them suitable for a self-insert shipping with me. Both of them are talented, handsome and 110% husbando materials.
Welp... I would not feel it right to draw myself with any of them.
Why though?
This is only art and just some fictional game, right?
This is obviously the truth but still I wanted to choose somebody who I can imagine being a rl character. Who with I have something in common could it be either positive or negative.
This is how I have chosen Ishida Shouya from Koe no Katachi (A Silent Voice) in the end.
Ishida was struggling from mental disease and depression, lack of self-confidence and hadn't got any self-esteem. I went through similar things like he did (even the worst of them) and his past is kinda similar to my brother's. He has grown to my heart pretty fast although he is not one of the most favourized anime characters ever.
Probably not the lightest bulb or a guy who most of us would call handsome but I still have chosen him.

You can call me an idiot or crazy after this but when I took the request to form a self-insert ship, I took it as a challenge. And as a challenge, I take it seriously. xD
So, here is the result.
The topic was the "first day of the spring" and my colour was "pink".
And yes. That red-head on the drawing is me, in 100% original outfit. Funny to think about it that no matter how clumsy Ishida is, I would be even worse ^^"

Topic:
Ishida-kun received a small gift from that smol red-head. When he attempts to figure out what could it be in the box, the lil girl got nervous and asked him not to open until she left.
