Description
Final piece for design and composition class.
I really could have done more with it, and there are so many anatomy aspects that are bothering me, but that’s my fault for leaving it for the last minute.

joking aside though, you did fucking brilliant and i was legit blown away when i woke up from my state of vegetation and tried to see if you had posted it anywhere. you seriously gotta give me some lessons on backgrounds, there's something about the way you make them; they're gritty but realistic and i'm so envious of the way the style blends with your shading uuuuugh stoooooop
that aside, i'm super duper proud, and ALTHOUGH I DON'T CONDONE YOU STAYING UP ALL THE DAMN TIME, it was definitely worth the effort and you did good u v u

Oh dude! this totally reminds me of that one movie, "The Grey" With Liam Nisan and.... LOL Kidding. Look, resl complements first. This piece is beautiful. The white wolf is so striking and powerful. I get a sense that this man is a hunter and that she may be a protector of this place and is here to do just that with her pack.
Now the critique. This crit is not on the art, it's on your description. Specifically Edit2. If I had a dime for every stupid comment I received on the art-sites I post on, I'd be rich. Now, actual stupid comments entail; Hitting on me/claiming to be soul-mates with me after viewing a piece of my work O.O (No joke, this has happened a few times in my time as an artist online, once just very recently. it was horridly creepy.), Saying things that are intended to be intentional digs at me or my work because a person is, for what ever reason, feeling like taking a pot-shot at me (often over jealousy, or because of self loathing they have for themselves, or because they think that such pot-shotting makes them look/sound intelligent, or for many other reasons, most of which really aren't my problem.) or even well meaning commenters who took no time to read the description or understand what they were looking at and say something horribly ignorant, or at worst case, something offensive and inappropriate. There are other examples.
What I'm trying to say is, being told that your work reminds people of this film they liked (Which honestly, I've never seen it so I don't see the connection,) is a little tacky, yes, but it's tackier of you to make it a big deal. Look at you, you're on the top page of popular art pieces for today! You have gotten a lot of good attention here! remember that 50 percent of the population has an I.Q. below 50. You are going to catch the stupid with the good. What looks really bad though, is the fact that you are making it a huge deal. Let it go, don't respond to commenters you don't like, and they will see after y9ou are silent that they maybe were out of line, or they won't and be blissfully ignorant, but you don't have to waste your time, and don't post things like this that the well meaning people willo see and make a negative judgement about you for! Remember, art is one part selling yourself, so best face forward. if you aren't reacting, the idiots will show and you'll be untouched, but leaving that edit is asking to be trolled.

Oh totally, as I said, They're idiots. I hate it when people compare my work to an established property. I've just learned the hard way myself that drawing attention to the fact that I dislike it can end badly and with more idiots com9ing in for the kill. In anycase, beautiful work and good luck XD

Schweet, reminds me of the ancient Greek art philosophy where you depict the moment just before a turning point and let the viewer imagine the rest....or maybe that doesn't apply because this isn't a turning point, it's the beginning....idk, i'm confused! super awesome either way!
