Description
Final piece for design and composition class.
I really could have done more with it, and there are so many anatomy aspects that are bothering me, but that’s my fault for leaving it for the last minute.

I keep coming back to this, wolves are such special animals, beautiful in all rights. I love this godly ice queen, it sends shivers down my spine. The idea of this foul, yet beautiful beast rising from the hills, her guards and packmates at her side.

Wonderfully awesome, the white wolf is stunning, though I do have a little annoyance with the blue eyes, this picture gets a pass because it ups the creepy factor.
Also, how big are those wolves!? I'm looking at him, then them, then back at him, and they look HUGE!
I was wondering what "The Grey" was until I looked it up, turns out it was an Okay movie I watched forever and a day ago...Yeah I can see a resemblance to this picture to that one scene, but not much to think it's connected, I could just as easily say that about another scene from White Fang. Too bad no one remembers that movie or book (At the very least I'm happy knowing it's not some sequel to '50 shades of Grey')

But yeah, a couple of people pointed out the ice eyes. I didn't know what other color to use to be honest and I partially wanted to give her a very god/ghost like look, so default blue it was. I'm glad the creepy factor reads somewhat though!
As for the movie, i've no clue! I haven't seen it yet.

Your prospectives and shading make this feel like such an intense piece, it really looks like the white wolf is right on top of you. I love all the expressions on the wolves as well.
I also love your painting technique for the background. I love how it fades out behind the wolves, it makes it look that much more menacing! Again, fantastic piece!
