Illustration of very desperate situation.That is... if it happened in an 8-bit game.
Edit: Alright... So... I submitted this design to Threadless because I thought it would make a cool shirt too...
But it was declined "because we feel your idea could use a little more work to be up to the standard that will give it the best shot."
Now I have to go through "critique" process for them to approve to be considered for submission...

I was wondering-- would you let my band, Highwind, use this design for a shirt? We have a song about Aliens that has "Game over, man!" as the chorus. We'd love to print this on some shirts. If not, that's okay too. This design is still really cool.

That's a great design! I think it's a bit odd that Threadless would reject it, have you tried submitting to other sites like TeeFury or RIPT ([link] ) ?

Ask a few things---
Perspective? Do they want strictly 2D sprites with flat left-right characters (like Pokemon games or NES/SNES games?
Or are they looking for the standard of 2D IMAGES -- example--- remember the 8-bit images in old school 80's games like...

It could be the style or maybe some missing blocky textures.
Personally I wouldn't have a problem with the logo on my T-shirt but I would love it more to have some textures like above with the classing 2D block 'swirls' and graphics around for extra flavor.

Aliens doesn't hold a CANDLE to the original movie! I love sci-fi movies (5th Element, Alien, Predator, Dark City, Blade Runner, 2001 ASO, Event Horizon) but Aliens didn't cut it for me (James Cameron...). Nor did Aliens 3 or 4 or the AVP movies..
I haven't seen Predators yet, but I heard it's good!
