All those Ironman pictures below to say...That this whole thing started because I had this image in my mind.
Samus emerging from her powered suit!!!
This latest image is rather crude... for I was using very loose pencil and brush strokes...
Anyways, so, I was imagining how the suit would work. And then, the whole Ironman thingy-ma-bob came up. So, I designed Ironman's suit in a similar fashion. But, I must say, I am more pleased with Samus' suit much much more.
Like I said before, I didnt' want a body suit. So, i had to design exo-skeleton powered suit. But, in order to retain her crazy proportion (check out her latissimus dorsi on all her official art as well as 3d models), I had to make the suit much bigger than how it is depicted in the game.
Also, for this particular image, I tried to keep the desgin of Samus to be more closer to the one from Metroid Zero Mission. But, the design of the suit is still the one I did (very first image from my deviant gallery).

THAT'S JUST AWESOME. I ACTUALLY REALLY LIKE THE LOOSE PENCILING, LIKE AROUND THE FEET AND STUFF, IT GIVES IT A COOL LOOK.
I PREFER THIS DEPICTION OF SAMUS OVER THE OVER-SIZED BUST, UNDERSIZED SIUT PICTURES YOU USUALLY SEE, MORE TRUE TO THE SERIES, AND JUST MORE ATTRACTIVE, IN MY OPINION.

That's awesome. That's like a battle station power suit. The outfit is the one from the original metroid good job on it. I like the tassel on her hand gun, sick effect.

I've favoured this because one, it's Metroid, which obviously gets a yayz, and second, it looks she's emerging from a Bayformer styled Varia Suit, gaining you another yayz!

Absolutely stunning. I wish i had your creativity. Too many people accentuated Samus' chest are, but you just put it how it is depicted in the game. Perfect. Great part on the suit, too. Probably the best exo-suit design of samus i have ever seen. You should send it in to nintendo to possibly use in a future game.
