Ah, Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith cuts Grand Moff Tarkin's birthday cake in the pleasant days before the destruction of the first Death Star at 0 ABY. Vader was a lot more fun before Luke blew up his battle station -- although he had already pointed out how insignificant it was compared to the power of the Force. Still, nobody wants a teenager to blow their home into space debris. So, the time before the destruction was happy, and everyone on the Death Star actually celebrated the Grand Moff's birthday. Naturally, it fell to Vader to cut it, and he was a bit of a showoff.
