Phwoar..... look at the pixels on that! That's right, this is a super high resolution picture - make sure you zoom in, enjoy the detail, download and whatever else you fancy.

As I mentioned in a recent journal, my computer of 9 years developed a terminal (ho ho) fault and even though it still works, I couldn't trust it to be there in the long term. I have built a replacement which has been both financially and physically exhausting but it's here now. Not everything is working perfectly but Daz Studio and Photoshop pretty much are. The GOOD news is that I am trialling this with a 27" full HD monitor, which I sincerely hope my eyes can survive in the long term. The second bit of good news is that the processor is rendering exactly 2.1x as fast as the old one. I know this, because I have tested them side by side! This means I can do BIG high detail renders in half the time.

I thought it was something of a big deal that Amanda and friends are 'moving' from the place they came into 3D form. So as a test image I thought I would go for a very HD full length. Normally, you only get this facial resolution on head and shoulders portraits, but I have thrown in everything down to Amanda's toes.

This outfit is a little bit of a throw back to her earlier years including the Teen Rebel and Summer Sleuth adventures. I thought that the hoodie suits all versions of Amanda and it was nice to throw it together with a pair of heels and dark tights.

Please note that my new monitor displays colours differently to the old one... if this is coming out too blue, too green or brown, too light or too dull, please say. I need to recalibrate my output for my viewers' eyes! Thanks.
