Mai: Come on, Zuko, the movie couldn't have been that bad.Zuko: You weren't there!
Ohm. Sorry.
Hardest part was the hair. Black is such a hard thing to deal with, tho I know that Zu's hair is dark brown, Mai's is deff black. Although you can't tell because some how I managed to fix it, Mai's hair was actually lighter then Zu's when I started.
IT was uber hair. T_T
My favorite part is the skin. It inspired me SO much that I drew a picture so I can draw more skin like this. I mastered the Burn tool

I know the characters, and they look great. I love the shine in the hair, the tears running down his face, their expressions. The colors and shading is great too.
Something i really really like, the scroll-like look with the burnt edges. It somehow makes me feel like it was an illusration from an ancient scroll xD
I can't say anything wrong about this picture lol as far as I can see, the characters are drawn and colored perfectly. You can feel their emotions. You can kinda sympathize with him even if you don't actually know maybe what exactly is upsetting him (maybe you do lol I didn't see the movie xD)

Really nice coloring job there Tori! Love the shading especially on their skin and the nice sheen you've got on the hair going there, you've also got the light source more or less consistent (a detail I sometimes overlook).

Oh, well the colouring is still awesome! I love the skin! :-D Some people I know said it was awful, some people said it was okay, and critics called it a "soul-crushing disaster"... XD So I don't know what to think! Haha.
