Description
This takes place a little while after Peridot joined Steven and the Crystal Gems: while taking a walk in the woods, she comes across a deer fawn with its left hind leg caught in a bear trap. Peridot would've left it like that but she felt sorry for it, so she freed it but sadly had to amputate its leg. Peridot names the fawn "Clod" because well...its a "clumsy clod" without its leg, and even though she says she's only keeping it out of pity, deep down Peridot sympathizes with it because she knows what it feels like to be weak.
