I learned it a little too late...I want to know some opinions on the love triangle, please comment if you want. Overall, I think that even if Duncan wanted to be with Gwen, he should have broken up with Courtney first. Is he trying to push his "tough guy" status? Whatever he's doing, it's hurt Courtney, a lot, and I hope you guys can feel that hurt in my drawing. Thanks for commenting/favoriting/watching, I really appreciate it!

Just do what I do......blame Alejhandro for the state that the three of them are in. If Alejerko hadn't made Tyler fess up about what he saw, then the kiss would have probably been a one-time thing that never happened again or Duncan would have broken up with Courtney properly before going out with Gwen

Gotta admit, Courtney drove me absolutely insane in TDA (Then again, that was a sucky season to begin with). But THIS....DxGxC???? No, no, no, no, and to the writers, NO! 
I've grown to love Courtney again, and I absolutely loved Gwen. But the writers are OBSESSED with Duncan. He wins 4th place in TDI, WINS TDA, and returns to TDWT even after leaving in the first episode! >_< How much can you possibly want to milk out of this one character?
I blame Duncan, he destroyed Courtney's heart and he turned Gwen into a two-timing backstabber. He all by himself sucked the life out of Total Drama for me, and why? Because the writers WON'T STOP WITH HIM. >_< They shoulda just called this whole show Total Drama Duncan, that's apparently what the writers wanted from the getco.
I feel her pain, I feel Trent's pain, I feel yours, and that of the fans. This was betrayal right here, betrayal. I want to just find whoever keeps bringing Duncan back onto the scene and make them feel pain like Courtney's feeling.
And that's the end of my little episode. To sum it up, lots of love to Courtney

That's exactly what i thought when i first saw this
Courtney was a good character. Then the writers twisted her personality and made her horrible, just so that Gwen could go with Duncan.

Ugh the writers frikin screwed up, they made Courtney into a total b**** in the second season. I liked her in the first season (although she went a little crazy in episode 27 of TDI).
I have to say the writers just made this show even less appealing. I don't like Duncan, Gwen, or Courtney that much anymore thanks to the writers. Thanks guys for ruining it!

You've certainly portrayed the angst and heartbreak in this moment well--though I can't say I approve of how Courtney treated Duncan later on in their relationship, I've come to feel sorry for her regarding the way it all ended.
Which brings me to my stance on the whole Courtney-Duncan-Gwen relationship issue. On the one hand, I really liked the DuncanxCourtney pairing when it was brought up in TDI--it was a perfect case of opposites attracting, finding mutual interests and learning to live with each others' faults. I was also pretty big on Duncan and Gwen's relationship being that of "just friends"--it was a good way of showing the audience that guys and girls can get along without having to lapse automatically into all the drama of romance and whatnot.
Then came Total Drama Action and World Tour. Personally, it seemed to me that Courtney's character was taken to a perfectionist extreme--harping on every single one of Duncan's faults, and going out of her way to punish him--and, sometimes, to make unfair demands of him (that list in "Top Dog" comes to mind here--along with Courtney's repeated attacks on Duncan's kiwis). Taking that into account, I can understand why Duncan would've wanted to break things off by the time of World Tour...and furthermore, while I support a Gwen/Duncan -friendship,- that's also how some of the more stable romances start out...and these two DO have a lot in common.
Ultimately? I've become somewhat conflicted as to which pairing I'd support more. But I can see both sides of the issue...and I'll admit that, whatever his justifications for pursuing a new relationship, Duncan should've taken the time to break things off with Courtney, first. And as gently as possible--something to the effect of: "I'm not so sure our personalities are really compatible anymore, and since neither of us is really enjoying the relationship these days, maybe we should try seeing other people."
Still...there's really no easy way to end a relationship, is there? It was a messy experience all around, no matter WHICH couple you support.

Think about it, Chris would do pretty much anything for ratings, Duncan's really protective of his punk/bad boy status/a great actor, Chris has been known to manipulate contenders (i.e. Owen), heck Chris admitted to busting the lock and if you listened closely enough Courtney kinda foreshadowed my theory.

Think about it, Chris probably wouldn't have broken the lock in the first place if he hadn't figured out the drama that would ensue, the time lapse between Owen and Noah saying "Uh-oh." and Courtney yelling at Duncan could be long enough for Chris and Duncan to break a deal, it can make perfect sense.
I know, but it's kind of the only way I can see it happening, and remember, Chris will do pretty much ANYTHING for ratings, regardless of what they're going through.
