I learned it a little too late...I want to know some opinions on the love triangle, please comment if you want. Overall, I think that even if Duncan wanted to be with Gwen, he should have broken up with Courtney first. Is he trying to push his "tough guy" status? Whatever he's doing, it's hurt Courtney, a lot, and I hope you guys can feel that hurt in my drawing. Thanks for commenting/favoriting/watching, I really appreciate it!

Possibly, but what I think happened, the kiss happened normally, Chris sees it, breaks the lock, maybe "hints" to Tyler(who everyone knows is bad at keeping secrets) to check out the confessional, and he sees the kiss, then maybe Chris along with Alejandro hints like crazy to spill the secret, and drama happens.

Good point, maybe Chris DIDDNT see the kiss coming, but decides to break the lock anyways, just to get drama, any kind of drama, Chris isnt picky. Or Chris could have seen SOMETHING coming, with Duncan's little comment on his police-running thoughts, Chris could have busted the lock, maybe so Court or someone would see Gwen admitting a crush on him. I doubt that if the secret was THAT big, it would last through seasons.

Even though I think Courtney's a horrible person, I still think Duncan's at fault here for not at least manning up to her and dumping her first. I support DxG but this is just messed up... I mean yeah, Courtney deserves this after what she's pulled but really, Duncan is a bastard for this one.

This is a great picture. I'm don't support Courtney at all because I think she's undeserving of Duncan, and this isn't because I like Gwen. She's treated Duncan like crap a lot of times and he's risked his life for her by wrestling an alligator and then he hurt his ankle and she walked off like she didn't give a crap about him. I admit that when Duncan and Gwen kissed, no deserves to be cheated on, but the way she constantly treated him that way, I actually felt at least 2% that she should have, and another 2% thinking that Duncan should have broke it off with Courtney first before going with Gwen.
But to me that's just Duncan being well- Duncan. He seems like the kind of guy who's took a girl's heart before and then cheating on her with another girl that was probably her best friend.
Like I said before this is a great and emotional picture.

I think this is really good. I really can feel a bit of Courtney's sadess. In the episode when Duncan come back at the end I thought it was totally sweet when Courtney was chewing him out for leaving, but then she said she wasn't really mad and hugged him. I haven't seen her soft side in so long. It was practically non-existant in TDA.
I don't care what people say, Court totally reacted in the way anyone else would. I would scream and rave to if I found out my friend was cheating on my boyfriend. And Court and Gwen really were getting along so well... I say Courtney didn't deserve this. Sure she's overbearing and bossy, but whatever! That's one of the things Duncan really seemed to love about her. In light of everything they had in season one Duncan could have at least had the grace to break up with her face to face.
I don't blame Gwen for falling for him. The fact that she felt massivly guilty afterwards somewhat redeemed what she did too. I don't blame Courtney either. Its a shame all she knew how to do was be bossy and controlling. If anyone is to blame it might be Duncan. After all, who can resist a bad boy? Although what was once playful teasing just seems to have become mean jack ass comments now... But oh well. We'll always have TDI when friends were friends and couples were couples.

I'm really sick of everyone calling Gwen a bitch and a boyfriend stealer, but as you said, she felt extremely guilty, got mad at herself for doing it, and tried to talk to Courtney.

Gwen was perfect without Duncan coming back,she should of not fell for him. She & Courtney were great friends,until he came back. Now she's the new heather.
I'm suprised Sierra was on Courtney's side about this,and she did say Gwen & Duncan had something for each other,I guess cause Courtney felt sorry for Sierra when she was heartbroken about Cody in Paris that she wanted to make it up to Courtney.
I still can't believe Duncan wanted to throw away all the precious memories of him & Courtney,Gwen & him had NO history, except being on the island & team mates in TDA.

I haven't said this yet but I will say it now...(rant coming ahead)
I liked Duncan x Gwen until it became canon...
I liked it until TDA, when all the things they had in common and constant interaction got kind of annoying...
And now that it finally happened, I realized something...
DUNCAN AND GWEN AS A PAIRING BENEFITS NOBODY!
Even during the speculation stage, it has brought nothing but pain, gimmicky scandal, and wangst
Unlike the DxG, something constructive comes out of their rival pairings, Trent x Gwen for example, Trent helps Gwen progress in the show, he helps her not be so gloomy and cranky even with her goth exterior, he helps her face her fears, and even cheered her on to win in the TDI, and Gwen is someone that Trent can talk to and be himself around (that is until he apparently got clingy and obsessive). Duncan helped Courtney not to be so uptight, maybe it kinda backfired, but still...
My problem with DxG is not just that it lacks progression, but also development, and in my opinion, it makes them both a bit OOC

I agree. Unlike TXG and DXC, there was very little build-up to DXG. Each member of the relationship had something to offer the other, which not only resulted in relationship development, but also character development. Gwen's time with Trent got her to be less aloof and pessimistic; Duncan managed to open up to people and reveal his soft side under his tough guy exterior; and Courtney learned to not be so uptight and bossy and to have fun. TDA destroyed this with bad writing by turning Trent and Courtney into psychopaths. Trent's attraction to Gwen turned him into a borderline creep, and Courtney's winning obsession and bossy attitude towards Duncan made her look like a domestic abuser. It's like the writers wanted to make them look like in order to justify getting Duncan and Gwen together for...some reason I can't explain.
What the original canon couples had I feel that Gwen and Duncan lacked. Just because they're close and have a lot in common, it doesn't mean they have to automatically hook up. I mean, I love friendships turning into romance, but since Duncan was gone halfway through season 3, it just felt so rushed and forced. There was hardly any build-up on his end, and Gwen's growing crush on him was only enough for her own feelings, not hers and Duncan's. If the love quadrangle had been handled better, I think I would have liked DXG more, but because it wasn't, it had a pretty negative impact. Both Trent and Courtney were left unhappy and betrayed, and the fanbase turned into a f*cking warzone because of these shipping battles.

as for the triangle. i don't like it. Gwen with Duncan just seems too pradictable to me and kind of boring...i wish they would bring back Trent for her. I just hope they make Courtney a better person after this and that she isn't seen as "bossy" anymore.

The only reason everyone feels sorry for Courtney is because she's being a crybaby about it. When has she even acknowledged Duncan as her boyfriend? You can't steal something that never belonged to anyone.
And Courtney treated Duncan terribly last season, it only makes sense for him to do the same to her now, even if he's taking it a little too far.

i'm with u on this, while i'll admit i don't hate her, after everything she did to everyone last season she definatly deserves someting like this. also, have u noticed that no one on the show except sierra is supporting courtney? as far as gwen goes, i'm happy for her, she treats duncan way better than courtney so she is better for him than courtney. even trent is cool with it!!!

As a huge Courtney fan, it should come as no surprise that I'm completely on her side. She was hurt because of Duncan's selfishness.
Duncan's a huge jerk. I mean, he was never a particularly nice person, but he's just being excessively cruel since his return this season. Aside from cheating on Courtney, needlessly antagonizing her for no good reason.
And Gwen... I'm disappointed in her. It's not that kiss so much--Gwen was caught off guard--but the way she handled it afterward. Instead of trying to make up with Courtney, and understand her pain, she obsessed over getting Courtney kicked off. Seems fair to me.
Really, I wish Gwen would wake up and realize the kind of person Duncan is. Unlike Duncan, she is a good person (or was, at least). She deserves someone better. And frankly, so does Courtney.

I think the main reason Gwen didn't go about trying to apologize was because she had almost her entire team gang up on her. When Sierra, Heather, AND Courtney are all singing a song about how much pain they want to inflict on Gwen, you don't get the desire to apologize but strike back, even if in the wrong.
