I love Elsa so much! You know why? When I watch her throughout the movie, I think of her as me with my autism and how I coped with it. I bet you Frozen fans with autism, aspergers or any other special needsΒ think of her like that too. It makes me feel better about being on the spectrum since Elsa's critical receptionΒ is very positive and she is a lovely young person who never wanted to harm anyone.

When I watched Frozen I thought of ice powers like autism too. Ice powers was hard for Elsa but it's also part of who she is. Sometimes you just have to let go of other people's expectations and be yourself. Which sounds cliche, but isn't at all when you're born autistic and everyone is sad that you aren't who they expected.

To be honest, I'm a person who is diagnosed with autism and I often have a hard time communicating my thoughts out to others, even if I'm improving over time. Iβm writing a fic on FictionPress, βA Social Winterβ. Itβs a Frozen fan-fic in which Elsa has ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). Although sheβs talented, she has trouble communicating socially.
