Personality: Snowflake is somewhat rebellious and hardly ever does as she’s told, most often doing the opposite, and she has very little respect for authority so if you do manage to gain her respect (and few do) count yourself lucky. She is also something of a thrill seeker and is always looking for ways to challenge herself and to prove to her parents that she can take care of herself; this often winds up with her biting off more than she can chew and getting into increasingly more dangerous situations.
Since she grew up in a family of homunculi and possessed abilities of her own Snowflake tends to take her powers for granted, often using them for menial tasks and showing off at any given moment showing very little restraint or subtlety, she can even become surprised by others without powers and wonders just how they manage to live without them. Snowflake has a somewhat love and hate relationship with her parents, Cobalt and Winter, while she doesn’t truly hate them she finds them infuriating and overprotective, though this has lessened recently after she’s grown older and slightly more mature.
She absolutely hates being looked down on and will immediately try and prove people wrong if they do so which has led Snowflake into many fights which she can’t finish on her own, despite this Snowflake is still eager to take on any challenge she sees fit and is also incredibly stubborn, refusing help from others and flatly refusing to back down even when it’s obvious she’s outmatched (a trait she gets from her mother).
While she is usually friendly towards others Snowflake has something of a temper which can easily be set off and almost always causes her to react violently, she has a habit of teating others the way that they treat her, so if someone is friendly she'll be friendly back, but subsequently if someone is an ass to her, she'll be an ass to them and so on and so forth, she also works on a mentality of 'you hurt my friends and I will hurt you!'

History: Snowflake is the daughter of two homunculi, Cobalt and Winter, and is the only one of her kind seeing as homunculi are not normally able to reproduce, her mother being the only homunculus in existence to be able to produce offspring. Snowflake’s parents were always very protective of her growing up, a fact which soon began to annoy Snowflake as she grew older and eventually took to sneaking out from time to time to explore, often getting caught by either of her parents and brought back home. Despite this Snowflake continued to rebel against her parents which often got her into trouble.

During one such occasion Snowflake wound up being kidnapped by Zeus, an alchemist attempting to create a Tier 6 homunculus (something that is actually forbidden in the laws of alchemy, partly due to it being almost impossible to create but mostly because any previous attempts have resulted in horrific natural disasters) and planned on using Snowflake as part of his experiment due to her unique nature as well as because of who her mother was, believing that because Snowflake was unique she held the key to producing a Tier 6 homunculus. She was taken to an abandoned city known as No Man’s Land and held prisoner there while her parents (along with some more of their friends as well as some survivors hiding in the city) attempted to rescue her. While there Snowflake began to make friends with Mist, one of the homunculus Zeus had created, and attempted to convince her to help her escape, however Mist was incapable of disobeying her master despite the bond she and Snowflake began to develop. Mist eventually sacrificed herself in a fight with Winter in an attempt to help Snowflake realize how much her parents cared about her but Zeus recovered Mist’s soul and used it and countless other souls he’d captured to transform Snowflake into the Tier 6 homunculus Rapture.

Eventually, the part of Mist’s soul within Rapture eventually managed to convince Rapture to commit suicide and return Snowflake’s soul to her original body, allowing Snowflake to reunite with her mother and return home, Snowflake now having greater respect for her mother and Winter more confidence in her own daughter. Since then Winter began to train Snowflake herself in order to better use her abilities so that she could properly defend herself and nothing like this would ever happen again. Soon after Snowflake received an invitation to Legacy Academy and jumped at the chance to better her abilities and to see new places, while reluctant her parents eventually agreed to let her attend.

Attending the Academy: Snowflake's skills and abilities were immature and underdeveloped and although her parents had taught her how to control her abilities Snowflake desired to leave her parents' influence and learn elsewhere and so took the invitation to join the academy.

During her stay at Legacy Academy Snowflake discovered that Mist’s soul had survived the incident at No Man’s Land inside her and was starting to wake up after she was knocked into a coma after a fight. Having two souls in one body eventually became too much for Snowflake to handle and she had to resort to transferring Mist’s soul into a new body, after a considerable amount of pain and a long recovery both Mist and Snowflake have recovered and are continuing their academy life happily alongside each other.

Ability(ies) / Power(s):

Cryomancy: Snowflake’s main ability, she is able to manipulate water particles in the air and freeze them into solid ice. She is able to use this ability in a variety of ways, freezing surfaces, creating sculptures, freezing over wounds to prevent bleeding etc. The most common this she uses this ability for is to create weapons, most often Snowflake will create a sword and shield which she will use in combat as well as several throwing weapons such as knives or shuriken, she will sometimes create other weapons if the need arises but is not as skilled with them and is likely to mess up, in recent times she has also taken to creating ice claws. Since entering the academy Snowflake has learned to better create ice wings and is able to use them to fly without much difficulty, able to sustain the construct for a several minutes and reach impressive altitudes, however their creation does drain her energy considerably and leave her worn out for some time afterwards.

Enhances speed/agility: Snowflake gets both her speed and agility from both her parents and it is easily her strongest ability, she is incredibly fast, agile and athletic which makes her a deadly force in a one-on-one fight, she is also able to match the speed of a bullet train but it takes her some time to accelerate and she will need to be going in a straight line whilst doing so, not to mention this will wear her out quickly. Her reaction times are also exeptional, coupled with her enhanced vision she is able to spot anything coming towards her and react in less than a second no matter how fast it may be. She could theoretically catch a bullet, but the force of the bullet would most likely shatter her palm and possibly go straight through her hand so catching it would be pointless, instead she prefers to simply dodge or deflect them.

Enhanced vision: Snowflake’s eyesight is exceptional; she can see in great detail even from a distance and is even able to see clearly in almost pitch blackness. As an added bonus she also has exceptional aim and she uses this to compliment her cryomancy powers by creating throwing weapons for long range combat, not to mention she has near perfect hand-eye co-ordination. Her enhanced vision also compliment’s her speed as, when travelling at high speed, she is able to pick up details in her surroundings despite the speed at which she is passing by which helps prevent her from running into obstacles (provided she’s actually paying attention and not simply trying to show off).

Minor enhancements: While not as strong as her main abilities, Snowflake’s strength, stamina, healing and durability are still greater than that of a normal person, she is capable of fully re-growing limbs if she happens to lose one, though her healing abilities are by no means instantaneous and their effectiveness can vary depending on the type of wound, the environment around her or how much energy Snowflake has left to spare.

Everice Sword and Shield: A sword and shield made of un-melting ice. They were a gift from Yuki during one Christmas, despite the fact that Snowflake does not celebrate Christmas she accepted to the gifts so as not to upset her friend.

Snowflake's abilities require her body's own energy, energy which she replenishes by eating or sleeping. Excessive use of her abilities can also wear her out and since Snowflake tends to abuse her abilities a lot this tends to happen rather quickly.

Snowflake is inexperienced in combat and often leaves gaps in her defences and makes rather predictable attacks despite her enhanced speed.

While she is moving at full speed it is incredibly easy to trip Snowflake up or trick her into running into a wall or obstacle.

Although not technically a Homunculus Snowflake still possesses the same traits and so is vulnerable to things such as magic, as a homunculi's body will try and reject any magic causing physical damage to the body, to the point where even healing magic will damage her.

Anyone who knows a decent amount of alchemy would also likely know various other things that a homunculus is vulnerable to.

She is vulnerable to fire and heat which can quickly weaken her and possibly even kill her if she is exposed to it for too long.

Shortly after beginning her second year Snowflake discovered a strange metal egg in the woods, finding no sign of the creature that laid it and unable to find any clues in the library as to what the egg might be. She decided to keep it and raise the baby as her own, although it took forever to hatch eventually it did, revealing that inside it was a strange blue bird with a metal beak and talons. After hatching the bird, which Snowflake named Artemis, formed a strange bond with Snowflake, able to understand everything she said and somehow able to communicate by sharing information with Snowflake.
