While Lexie is preparing to have her foal, two mares wander by in curiosity.

A while later Vagabond and his herd run into yet another rainstorm, but with another rainstorm comes another mare!

With a newborn foal and a pregnant mare, Vagabond has to stay alert at all times. It will prove useful as a predator is lurking in the shadows, stocking the young foal.

Pregnancy: Grace (2/3)

Holey moley I finally finished this! I took me wayyy too long I originally wanted to write a story too, but I feel like I'm going to get enough rolls from this anyways so

Vagabond,s herd found a safe place to wait for the storm to pass. The next day as they go out, Lexie goes in to labour and seems in a lot of pain. Vagabond stays on her side and asks Goldenrod and Rose to keep an eye on Grace. Since she's pregnant too and seemed worried about the pain Lexie was going through which could also be hers. Lexie's screams of pain alert Calamity, Musica and Diane who's previous stallion died trying to protect them. They introduce themselves to Vagabond, who's cold because of the whole situation. Calamity offers her help and Lexie ends up delivering without problems. In the meantime a mountain lion showed up, waiting to eat the newborn foal. Fortunately Vagabond notices him, and fights him until he leaves (maybe even gaining a few scars? Only RNG will tell)
