Description Something absolutely different!
This time an animation sequence made using only traditional mediums. Hand-drawn with pencil, inked with black pen and coloured with markers.

I was a bit anxious as going 100% traditional means...no digital correcting afterwards so if I messed something up, well I wouldn't be able to fix it.
But it went better then expected! ;v;

My rostrum light bulb died so durpderp had to use a shitty one-thus the flickering light in gif :'D

Anyways! Here is my little tribute to the Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit

To expand my portfolio I try to make animations in many different styles. This one is purposefully heading more toward old, children storybook feel!

I especially love when he's putting on the clothes
and then he opens his tiny little hands and you can kind of see the fingers??

This is buteful!! ;0; man you are such a grate animatior! This must have taken forever. But it came out amazing! This really reminds me of children books i used to read you did an outstanding job. This really brings me some nostalgia..

It took me a day to make it. I think the longest part was filling up colours with markers as I had to be careful to not make them bleed or smudge x'D
I am glad it brought a little bit of nostalgia in you! Nothing is as heart warming as memories of some old books we used to read as a kids!

this is also a wonderful little animation, and its super impressive that it was done completely in traditional mediums.
I actually kind of like the date and flicker of the light. it shows even more that its traditional, and gives it a sort of warm sun-like feel.
I loved Peter Rabbit as a kid! and this is an awesome tribute! great job

I've never had chance to see it as a child but I found it recently on youtube and watched it.
SO ADORABLE HNNNG...I love the voice actors and how cutely the rabbit was animated! Can't believe how well the cells were painted! ;0;

Oh all the Beatrix Potter cartoons are great.
I haven't seen them in a long time but they all stand out in my memory.
If I can ever find them on DVD/Bluray (what ever it's on) it's coming home with me.
Sadly I haven't seen them anywhere since I was very young.
However Peter was always my favorite.
