...Actually, try kicking a cat. I dare you. Yes, it will try to run away AT FIRST. So would a dog. And so would a HUMAN. I mean, unless you're stupid. Would your first instinct be to hold your ground when something at least double your size is assaulting you?
A cat, like any other animal, will retaliate once it realizes it cannot escape.
Besides, I like cats better, anyway. They can learn from their mothers to use the litterbox, and don't need to be trained to not defecate on the floor.
Angry cat-fancier rant aside, it is a nice shot. Can even see the dust in the fur. What kind of camera do you have?

Ofcourse it would. But this is just an argument for those who try to tell you, that cats aren't couragless but "heroic" because they are brave and independet. They just ar not
