Another one not covered in glitter! I'm on a streak!
And I'm trying to get better on tooling...just have to practice, practice, practice. This one took a lot more time than expected, but I'm pleased with the results! Huzzah!
Mask is hand shaped/baked (and tooled <3) from 8 oz. leather. Thanks for looking and I appreciate your feedback! <3

I like the design of this one-the cutwork makes it look really delicate, but the weight of the leather lets you know it's tough stuff. Very cloudlike, very pretty.

Thanks! This was a great learning one, as I don't really think I'll sell it. It's just the tiniest bit too fragile to meet my standards as something to sell, but I might get a bit more accepting of it or re-do the design a bit later

What I really like here is how, from a distance, it looks like one of those stiffened lace masks, and you follow it up by adding in "shading" with the color of the rim. Very, very nice.

Thanks! I really like playing with the space within the mask. It's lead to a few lovely failures that I can't really do much with (except count them a lesson learned!). It's been an adventure in structure, I'm starting to pick up on where I can cut without taking away from the strength of the mask. More experimenting to come! XD

I get nervous just cutting out the eyes, so I can only imagine how they must have been! Then again, I use 12 oz leather.
