tbh when i first saw this a few years back i didn't really get it.. now i think it's stunning. Love the use of different brush marks to build-up form and texture, wonderful work man

Somehow this reminds me of once when I was eating dots(icecream of the future) at worlds of fun(the themepark) and it was raining. Anyway this is an awesome piece.

The smudged, messed look is wonderful! i love that look. I don't see anything wrong with it, Then again, no art is "wrong", just different. And this is a great work that spawns feelings or emotions, It looks like you've poured a lot of anger, frustration or depression into this and it looks great for that reason.
... Then again I could be wrong, you may have just made it because smudging looks cool, either way it's great!
I can't actually see much 3D stuff in this piece, but maybe thats the point. The artwork isn't meant to have a focal point, but more, the whole thing is the artwork. The white space (which isn't actually white) gives this piece depth and helps the colours show. And the colour choice is beautiful! blue-green and purple are great colours on beige, It works well.

Yeah, sometimes I get inspired by an art work so much, I have to let the artist know that, what their making is great stuff.

Wow thanks, this is probably one of the best critiques I've recieved in awhile, I think you've pretty much got this piece..not really any anger or depression, but you got my style still. I did start with a 3d model for this, and it looked alot more like a rose, it's just been brushed so much it's hard to see exactly what it used to be.
