yay! i created this because i wanted to get more into my digital painting.. so as you can see i painted the fairy (via mouse).. i'm pretty pleased with the results
i got this idea from seeing my boyfriend's face illuminated by a blueish light at night-time.. i thought to myself, "i'd like to try and see if i could create that with an image of someone that's been taken in the daylight".. and voila

hehe, the little strands that are coming from the fairy, remind me of those little balls of light, that will change colors, and you can play with the tubes of glass (goodness this is a horrid description of what im thinking of)

I thought it was really creative, and a really interesting twist of mixing something that everyone has seen before, with something that people will reconize, but perhaps not quite put their finger on
Im still a little groggy from sleep, that mightnot make sense, but I loved it!

Not bad, but i think you need to have more of the bright blue light shining on the other side of the face. Right now the light is coming from the bottom left, but the fairy is directly in front of the face.

well i had placed the fairy closer to the hair actually, which is why it's so much lighter.. and why the girl's head is turned
but thank you for the critique, i'll take it into consideration if i ever decide to edit
