Description
Here is my entry for 's contest "Share the Muse." [link]My entry is to illustrate her character Spark! [link] I have loved Spark since I first heard about her years back, and I have always wanted to draw her and now I finally found the time!
I used a reference for the face, and adjusted the body around it. And then I did the background, which changed more as I went along. I tried leaves, but that was too jungle like and Spark in more in a forrest type of location. Then I tried water, which was great for the color scheme and I personally enjoy it. But the water kinda takes on a more ethereal quality, which I liked and decided to enhance. She was supposed to just kinda walking across water and now it's more like she is walking through this vortex smoke thing. Very nifty!

There's also the "Austin Zoo" out here. It's actually a non-profit animal sanctuary with tons of tigers,wolves,lions, and the what-not. It's only $3 to get in, so we should hit it up sometime.
Also, I don't think I can make your graduation, since it looks like I have a show that weekend to perform at. >.< I'm totally going to get your graduation gift to you though!
