For starters, many people who play the game Samurai Warriors seem to be SERIOUSLY DELUDED about the characters. It is common knowledge that
Oda Nobunaga and Nou-hime(Kicho) = pair
Azai Nagamasa and O-Ichi = pair
Toyotomi (Hashiba) Hideyoshi and Nene (Kita no Mangokoro - her real name is much more badass) = pair
Akechi Mitsuhide somehow caused Oda Nobunagaβs death
Toyotomi Hideyoshi resembled a monkey and had that weird helm
Tachibana Ginchiyo = head of Tachibana
The character who is named Kunoichi did not exist
Masamune had one eye
HOWEVER
Oda Nobunaga committed seppuku and was NOT shot by Magoichi
Akechi Mitsuhide was eighteen years older than Oda Nobunaga
Hidemitsu was NOT Akechi Mitsuhideβs younger brother - he was his adopted son
Mitsuhide and Ranmaru did not have any βspecialβ interaction
Nobunaga and Ranmaru were in fact a pederast and his bitch, respectively
Akechi Mitsuhide did not wear pretty purple armor, nor did he wear those huge fuckinβ sode - he wore Sengoku-period armor that had hints of teal and red
Mitsunari was not slain on the battlefield - he was buried up to his neck and beheaded using a blunt saw
We really have no clue about whether Honda Tadakatsu actually had a daughter named Ina-hime

I heard of this game before, but I've never played it. After seeing this handsome drawing of this guy, I think I will go rent that game and play it. I like his eyes, but the texture and shading on his face. Nicely done! I wasn't sure about the light shading under his left eyes (the right eye in our perspective) because for a minute there, I thought someone punched his eye and left a mark. But after close examinatoin, it wasn't a swollen skin under his eye. LoL Looking forward for your next work!

Your art style is simply stunning, as always - the coloring and the textures and, of course, the abundance of bishounen. I loved the metal look you did for the sword and the gauntlet, but I have to say the pixelated background steals the show for me. Hehe, maybe it's the gamer in me, but I'm both nostalgic and amused.
Other than that, I'm completely ignorant to this Samurai Warriors. Heh.

Yeah, Oda Nobunaga's really popular in Japanese history. If you watch some of those samurai and ninja series, he's always there, terrorrizing people.
