Passed/Didn't Pass:

This was maddening. It wasn’t anything the judges did; they were expressionless, only a few hums here and there - quiet scratching of the paper as they noted down his imperfections as well as his positive traits. But trying to keep her young stallion who was a mere second from uncharacteristically snapping at her face and very characteristically bolting from the arena… Combined with needing to look proper and relaxed… Yeah.
It all just resulted in Victoria clenching the reins in a death grip, knuckles white, her face stuck in a snobby sneer so alike her mentor. It was a business sneer, one that screamed “Oh, daddy’s money” when it was in fact the only defense keeping her from doing something reckless.
She was proud of her steed, he was beautiful and normally no flaws would let themselves be known but today everything looked wrong. Was his withers too small? Now that she thought about it they looked a bit big, but that wasn’t a bad thing, right? His neck had built a ton of muscle since she had received him as a gift a little over a year ago, but what if that made his neck look stocky? Did he have a naturally baroque neck? Surely, that wouldn’t go well with the judges. As if sensing her thoughts, Diesel butted her tense hands softly; the velvety nose just barely grazing her fingers. She gazed over his figure again. Now that she looked at him his withers looked fine and his neck was a good warmblood length, a bit thicker than the other youngsters at her own stables perhaps but one could certainly assume it was just muscles. To be honest, it did little, if anything, to calm her nerves.
The sound of three concise taps on wood snapped her out of her thoughts. She glanced up. Callum was watching her with half-lidded eyes, a frown gracing his lips. His hand was subtly - but clear to her, worriedly pulling at his platinum hair. He inclined his head towards the entrance of the arena and shrugged his right shoulder. Oh, they were finished, had she even trotted with him?

Like a zombie, she trudged towards the gate, giving a smile that felt as fake as it most likely looked towards the next team.

“What happened out there?” Callum whispered. Victoria shrugged as she mindlessly fixed some of the loose buttons on Socrates.
“Did I do what I was supposed to do? Did I show him well?”
He pinched his nose. “Yes, he was as graceful as ever-"
"-So, nothing bad happened; drop it." her voice clipped, warning glint on her tongue.

"-But I know you. I’ve seen you at your worst, so what was that?”

She paused, hands sliding down his neck coming to a rest by her sides.
“What was what?” she whispered, before the frustration came over her, “what was what?”.
Callum’s eyes never left her figure, he pursed his lips in equal frustration.
“I can jog with Socrates if you need to catch a breather, Vic’. I drove here with you - for you, not to just watch but also to assist you in moments like these.”
Victoria only gave a tense nod in reply before she took hold of Socrates’ reins. As she passed him, she grabbed his hand gratefully.

Diesel is just trying his best, stop criticizing him, Vic' :CCCC
I want to slowly introduce these characters, and I need to be honest - All 6 entries (3 x 2) are finished I just haven't gotten around to upload them. IS this the best way to introduce Callum and Victoria? hahaha... No, but I'm going to take the chance.
